My uncle brought a TRS-80 Color Computer to grandma's house one Christmas. I was probably six or seven. I spent days there with my cousins playing games which loaded off cassette tapes. There were tons of games (which I understand now were pirated). You had to use the counter on the cassette tape to know where to begin loading the one you wanted. We had a lot of fun with that machine.

My dad bought one soon after and I learned how to program basic and make my own text adventure games. The best game on the system was Dungeons of Daggorath. I remember being actually scared by it.

I really enjoyed that computer, but the joysticks were really crap. I remember my dad being pissed about how much they cost and never working worth a shit.

Super Monkey Ball 2 on the Gamecube, or specifically, monkey target. For the uninitiated, monkey target makes no sense as a videogame.

It was a rough start.

My Nana had a SNES and I used to play Mario on it. My only memory of my Nana is her coming in from the garage and saying "Don't sit so close, you'll go blind"

She died when I was 4.

Sitting in the floor in the bedroom my brother and I shared back when we loved in a less than savory part of town, about three years old playing Sonic the Hedgehog 2 on the genesis. I remember us putting all of our silly misguided hopes in the 32x for our gaming future up until we got Tomb Raider on the PlayStation.

I also remember playing Super Mario and duck hunt on the NES with my mom, but I'm not quite sure when that was.

I remember my dad bringing home an Atari for my brother's birthday and begging to play Pitfall for months afterwards.

My dad had an amiga with a platform game of this chicken, who jumped on springs (similar to sonic) and the level was made of cheese. I forget the name of it, but that's the earliest game i can remember playing. Was maybe 5 years old.
