My first video game was Sonic the Hedgehog 2 on the Genesis. It was technically my brother's console, but I think I put more use into it than he did.

My earliest memory is one of my neighbors had the Pong console with the dial controllers. Something like this: http://www.richardlagendijk.nl/foto/cip/computer_2000k_01.jpg

Mine is weird - "Dizzy Egg" - a fucking old MS Dos game. It woul dhave been like 1992-1994 when I played this with my mum on an old Amstrad PC.

That and another Dos game called "Stargoose".

From there we moved onto the free demos on the Windows 95 CD-ROM - Hover and Hellrider.

Sitting in the floor in the bedroom my brother and I shared back when we loved in a less than savory part of town, about three years old playing Sonic the Hedgehog 2 on the genesis. I remember us putting all of our silly misguided hopes in the 32x for our gaming future up until we got Tomb Raider on the PlayStation.

I also remember playing Super Mario and duck hunt on the NES with my mom, but I'm not quite sure when that was.

I remember playing the Atari 2600 in the early 80's. Me and my dad would play pacman and asteroids every day. He was in the navy and was able to get the games really cheap. I really miss those days.

I remember playing Pyjama Sam and Putt Putt at my grandma's place... that was fun.

I played a dig dug like game on an old old old laptop (3.5" floppies). I also remember playing Mario and Kirby on a NES.
