waking up on christmas with my older brother, running downstairs and opening up a brand new SNES, with like 10 games and the big giant gun they had for a hot minute (that never worked right for us). We played Super Mario World for like the next week as much as we were allowed and still barely made it past the second set of levels. We eventually let our neighbors borrow the game for like a week once we got tired of failing. When we got it back they had beat the entire thing and then my mother deleted it because she wanted us to do it ourselves.

**edit: i was maybe 5 and my brother was 7

Sonic the Hedgehog 2.

First time I saw a video game was at a friend's house during his birthday party when we were 6. I was FLOORED. Still love it today.

Probably Jazz Jackrabbit. Or Police Quest; that one was hard as hell for a kid.

My sisters and I would wake up at 5am before school so we could play battle mode Mario Kart 64.

Either playing Wheel of Fortune in DOS(?) on my cousin's computer or Duck Hunt on the NES.
