Metriod Prime for Nintendo Gamecube. I especially remember this because even though I knew how to play, I didn't know how to read at the time so I would always end up loading the wrong save file and screwing my Mom's speedruns up.

First gaming memory: A Pong machine in a barber shop. Then came Asteroids, Galaxian, Pacman, and Donkey Kong. The shift to home gaming with the Atari 2600 is when my collection (and backlog) started. I"ll won't quit playing video games and messing with tech until it's game over for me...

I'm probably too late, and unlike everyone else it wasn't a video game. I still remember sitting down with my grandfather and him teaching me how to play chess. Led me into a whole world I didn't know existed. He gave me different opening books and he encouraged me to join the chess club at our school. We still play now and then. Not enough though... not nearly enough. I think I'll give him a call.

James Pond on Amiga 600!

My sister's boyfriend at the time just got a ps1, so he gave me his Amiga and a huge stack of floppy discs. I probably only played 10% of them!

I recently asked my mum what happened to the console, but neither of us know.

That was around 1998 if I remember correctly so I was around 6 or 7. Man I'll never forget how much joy that console brought me.

Probably at a friend's house he had a commodore 64, there was a game where you were to prevent a bank robbery from hapening. There were 3 doors and in those doors either appeared a bank client or a robber. You had to shoot the robber by choosing the pointer with the joistick and then pressing fire. You lost points for shooting the clients instead of the robbers. Yeah...that was fun. Still it was a long way from that to my first computer.

Super Mario World for the first gameboy! Got if for my Birthday and I vividly remember thinking the hearts in the game had something to do with my aunts love for me. :D It was an amazing game and way too hard for a 5 year old.
