Walking into my aunt's house when I was like...six? And being told, here's a NES, here's a Master System. Pick one. Like a chump, I picked the Master System and my aunt got years of Mario fun.

Coming home from elementary school, firing up my PSOne, and playing a long ass session of Spyro.

I loved it when I would come home as well and my father would tell me what kind of progress he made on Spyro while I was at school. Father of the year award right there.

My dad had an amiga with a platform game of this chicken, who jumped on springs (similar to sonic) and the level was made of cheese. I forget the name of it, but that's the earliest game i can remember playing. Was maybe 5 years old.

I remember my dad bringing home an Atari for my brother's birthday and begging to play Pitfall for months afterwards.

Sitting in the floor in the bedroom my brother and I shared back when we loved in a less than savory part of town, about three years old playing Sonic the Hedgehog 2 on the genesis. I remember us putting all of our silly misguided hopes in the 32x for our gaming future up until we got Tomb Raider on the PlayStation.

I also remember playing Super Mario and duck hunt on the NES with my mom, but I'm not quite sure when that was.

My Nana had a SNES and I used to play Mario on it. My only memory of my Nana is her coming in from the garage and saying "Don't sit so close, you'll go blind"

She died when I was 4.
