Yoshi's Story I remember loving how they used alternative graphics, and since then I have been in love with pretty much any game that looks "different." (My favorite games are Okami and Windwaker xD)
The first memory I have ever seeing a game was watching my older brother play The Illusion of Gaia on SNES. He would rage so so hard in the Mayan temple level. I tried playing but I really didn't understand anything as I was probably 6 or 7. I still own the game tho and I love it!
I also remember the day he brought home Asheron's Call for PC. This was the first MMO I was exposed to and entire reason I love the MMORPG genre so much. I remember we used some database app that had a list of all the spells and potions and all of their reagents. We printed the entire thing off in a bound booklet so we could access the content easier haha. I miss AC!

I must've been 3 or 4 years old, and we had gotten a C64 from a relative. My brother was playing, and I was sitting next to him watching all the time. I remember Giana Sisters and some game where you were swinging from one liana to another. I think the floppy for that game was a yellow color, with a leopard pattern possibly..? And the game action went right to left, not left to right. So you were moving your character to the left. Which kinda stuck with me over the years because it seemed unusual.
