Mario 6 golden coins, on the original gameboy. So many hours spent on that thing, mainly between mario and links awakening. And of course pokemon once that was released.

For me it was Diablo. I was 3ish. I would sit on my dads lap and click the mouse for him.

Sitting at home, having gotten a day off from school (Woot!). I was playing Jurassic park, Operation Genesis and eating buffalo style chicken wings. And now anytime I smell buffalo style chicken wings I think back to that memory.

I remember playing Pong on a very early home console that friends of my parents had. It was very basic but had two analog controllers so you could play against each other. It had a few built-in games (tennis, ping-pong etc) which were just slight variations on the same theme. This would have been in 1978-79 and I was about four years old.

I remeber my parents bringing home a very early gaming console. I think it used cartridges for the games. I remember you could play pong on it. It had joysticks that were very thin and loose. After that I got a C64 and I've never looked back.

When I was little, I used to create a Nintendo controller out of Tinker Toys and "play" by looking at my aquarium and pretend to move the fish around. When my mom found me doing that, I got an NES soon after. :)

Typing a BASIC program from a magazine into the Comodore 64 we got for Xmas. Sprites chasing each other across the screen or something, the memory is a little pixelated.

Actually, I take that back, my grandparents had a PONG system, lots of Atari 2600 time over the years, never mind the stand-up game time, having to get quarters together and bike down to the local arcade.
