Getting an NES for either my birthday or christmas. The very first game I ever played was Gyromite, as my entire family tried to figure out how the fuck to play the game.

When I was around 12 years old I got CoD4. It was my first ever shooting game and I didn't have XBL so I used to just play the campaign over and over again.

Man, it's been a while. Not as long as most, but still. I suppose the earliest memory is playing that Lego Island game. That was great fun. I also remember trying to access Bionicle.com to try and play the Mata Nui online game. It was released in installments over time. I was really stoked when my sister and I figured out that the alphabet used ingame was a simple cypher. We spent ages travelling all over the island decoding all these random messages.

Ecco the Dolphin and Crystals Pony Tale on our Sega Genesis! I got a game boy color with Super Mario Brothers and Pokemom Yellow for my birthday though and that's what really got me into gaming.

Pokemon Blue and I'm not ashamed to admit that every once in a while I relive my childhood with that game!
