Growing up with two older brothers, I was always either the small one who could fit behind the TV to change from sega to Nintendo, or would have the Nintendo controller while they played sega to be "the bad guys".

I also remember my neighbor Jacob bringing over FFVI and naming the clown "Tina" after my little sister because we made her think she was crazy. I don't really have nostalgia for old games, but I guarantee if I had all my family in one room with a copy of "Greendog: the beached surfer dude" it would feel like home in the weirdest way ever.

I can't quite remember but it was some kind of plane game, it was in 2D and you could pick up weapon upgrades and different things, there were a butterfly and a flower, can't remember what they did but I know my brother got damned pissed when i took them.

My cousins had an Atari 400 at their house, they didn't play it much at all, so it was never set up, just kept in the coffee table. They lived quite a long way away, so any time we would visit, I would be completely stoked to get to play it. I was too shy to ask them to set it up though. So I would wait and hope that they would offer to set it up so I could play.

Some time later my Aunt gave it to me, which was mind blowingly exciting. Eventually though it died. But my older brother bought me a Coleco Gemeni, he even built me a little wooden cabinet for it. And so began my lifelong obsession with games.

Earliest memories are playing dig dug, pacman, donkey kong, pitfall, and a couple bad racing games on the Atari. But shortly after that we got an NES. That is where I started have more fun. Zelda will always have a special place in my heart. Before the internet my family use to sit around together and work out the dungeons. I still have the hand written maps that my mom made. Those were good time. And of course, mario and duck hunt were regulars on our tv.

The Elder Scrolls: Morrowind.

I was about 6 or 7 and I used to watch my dad play it until I started playing it. I didn't know what the hell I was doing, I just liked walking around in the open and magical world. It's always been my favorite title ever.
