Yeah they ignored the fact they released a big DLC pack before releasing the game, they ignored the complaints that it was found part of the dinos were unfinished, didn't touch on the fact that "part of their vision" (their words) cost 2/3 of the price of the game instead of being part of the game.

Side note the game and this DLC now puts it in the range of a AAA title in cost.

Our original vision for ARK always included the creation of Expansion ARKs, along with the infrastructure and technical systems to transfer data dynamically between live ARKs. We determined that it is more sound to iterate on these systems during Early Access than after retail launch

They wanted to test how they could sell expansion packs that had new features in an early access game, and the only way they could figure out how to test those features was to sell an expansion pack that's pretty fucking P2W. What a load of shit.

LMAO they never addressed crap in this post. I understand the point they made about giving them the time to work on how to integrate other "Arks" om the future with this DLC.

However they seem to have missed the whole point of the controversy and just pandered into the hands of the fanboys who already bought they DLC to further validate their reasoning when they bought it.

It was about the content.

It wasnt about the price.

It was about them doing a quick money grab with it. Had they wanted to do it right they should have offered it to all EA players to play while the base game is still in early access with the point being made that once it was fully released they would have to anti up the 20 bucks there and then to play SE further.
