Flying lemon with a multitude of technological problems eventually foisted onto allies at great expense in roles that it was not designed for. Reminds me a lot of the F-35. I guess somethings never change.

My step dad was in the Air National Guard. Apparently the base commander at his base died in one of these things. Went into a flat spin and crashed. Starfighters were know for these spins due to their ity bitty wings and tail.

Wasn't it known as the flying coffin in the Luftwaffe?

The USAF refused to use it as a front line fighter because it was a total piece of shit but gave it to the Germans (pay backs bitches), and it was very limited use in the ANG.
