With 72 comments already, I doubt you're going to see this one, OP. I'd just like to say what I know you've already thought of, but sometimes, shit happens that has nothing to do with us, even when we make all the right choices. It has driven many people insane, but others have the strength and support to roll with the punches. Just hang in there (insert that poster of the kitten dangling from the tree).
That's how you know it's not human. Any human would know better than to blame the mother for a miscarriage to her face, even if she was drunk, smoking crack, and obese. It's just not something you do.

Definitely complain! I'm sorry for your loss, I've been there...I'd have yelled at her loudly
I'm sorry for the loss of your child. When you do successfully give birth, I ask you to please keep in mind that in the long term, the most valuable things for a human being to have are knowledge and experience. Not only are they are the best inoculation against the torrent of misleading and often manipulative bullshit we're all inundated with on a daily basis (sometimes even from our own families and friends), but they are essential tools for success in life. It's my opinion that the goal of every parent should be to help make their offspring as strong as possible, and that means not being used by friends, family and coworkers, and not letting them be poisoned by manipulative lies. Critical thinking is key. Please don't blindly rely on schools to teach the value of critical thinking skills.
