FtM is also ill I just used the dick thing. Pretending/beliveing to be something you are not is ill yes. Cutting of and/or adding body parts to try and become something you are not is ill. Dont you think so?

No, in fact, I don't think believing you are something you aren't is mentally ill. In fact, it's so ordinary as to define humanity. Similarly, people who wish to add an arm to replace the one their brain says they should have (and have subsequently lost) is not ill either. Is the man missing an arm mentally ill when his brain tells him he should have one? Obviously not. Neither is it "ill" to desire that arm be there.
What you might be trying to suggest is that it isn't helpful to attempt correcting the neurological dissonance with surgery. This might be the case, and I would agree that little research is being done to discover alternatives in spite of the high suicide rate. Personally I would be curious to know whether it is in fact possible to alter ones perception of gender pharmacologically.

The difference is you once had an arm. But if I wanted a third arm and got that attached it would be wierd right?
Its the same with furries and the other shit like that, thinking they are something else. And no I dont think that defines humanity, most people might want to be something else but they know they arent. People know they are human and either xx or xy, and that is the normal way.

Yes, thats kinda what I mean. When I have read posts/sotries or watched shows with trannies/furries and other people who modify themselves to the extream come across as unstable.
I can admitt they are not ill or deseased, I think they are defect. I dont want them dead or anything like that. If they want to chop of their limbs or undergo other treatments that's fine, but not on tax money or state help. I also dont like that they are glorified in todays media and made heros for doing nothing other than mutilating themselves.

Wanting to cut off your penis is just an example. The takeaway message being that wanting something that wanting to mutilate your body is part of an illness. Yes, adding body parts falls under mutilation as well.

Hm. So, modifying your body is mutilation and mental illness? I wasn't aware that people who want cybernetic limbs are mentally ill for not accepting their lack of limbs. Nor that people with tumors are mentally ill for wanting them removed.
The innate problem with this line of reasoning, as I am trying to illustrate, is that it has no basis in reason. Just because you are proscribing the opposite of what you think your opponent is proscribing, does not make you (nor them) right. The simple fact is I see nothing here but attempting to justify "things I don't like" as mental illness.
It is further worth remarking that many people think they're something other than they are. Too damn many of them think they're "right", for a start.

No, you imbecile. What a pathetic way to change the laguage.
Mutilation is mutilation, cutting your dick off for no reason other then wanting it is called mutilation and its something fucked up people want to do, not "modification".
