Told my son to mow the backyard and after trying to just say "no" for a few minutes, he told me he was called into work. He left in his work uniform, I was pissed bc I knew he was lying. Threatened to take the car away when he got back. Fiance and I had a shower to go to, so we couldn't do it, and we did all the other yardwork.
Miraculously, he was off work before the dinner rush (restaurant) was over, and he mowed the backyard. Fiance and I were gone less than 3 hours and he left for "work" at the same time we left for the shower. His protest was leaving the mower in the yard.
Not a big lie, but he knows how much I hate lying and he doesn't do it much.

Wanted to borrow his Mother's car to grab a bite to eat from a east food joint around the corner, drove all the way out to the mall instead to finger his girlfriend.
Dumbass, we're not going to notice you're gone for two hours?!?!?!?
Driving privileges revoked, GF not impressed with a bus taking BF... knocked out two birds with one stone.
