This is fantastic news. The amount of data that they (hopefully) should be receiving in the near future will greatly enhance our understanding of non-planetary bodies.

This is great, philae still has some science to do! Now if only they can get it right side up and maybe now at the base of the cliff, cast in shadow most of the time. If I remember, they tried to do that before it went offline and were unsuccessful...

I had almost lost hope about it since I hadn't heard anything in such a long time. Really glad to hear the good news now! Hope they will be able to gather all the data they want now when lil Philae is alive and kickin'!
