For sure, there's some streets in the older parts of the city where the brick is showing through the asphalt, but since it's still perfectly drivable if a bit bumpy, no plans to repave it. Also a couple streets where you can tell it used to be part of a streetcar route, even though the last streetcar ran in 1955.

That's pretty cool. Olympia is like that, I see bricks under potholes. There is a lot of history just buried below the surface in most places and it's downright fascinating at times.
