Just a note that this can't be reproduced 100 percent of the time. Sometimes it makes their posts disappear from new and sometimes it doesn't. Played around a bit with this myself on v/sports. The workaround for me has been to delete the messages first, then ban the user if they are repeat offenders.
it would be a potential way for a mod to silence a user's post without having the post go on the modlog deleted record.
It also means they don't get a message that their post has been deleted because it's not actually deleted.
