Well since the site is called "Politico" and seeing that we're at the height of the Presidential election season and have a candidate who is a reality tv star who is a master at generating headlines, does this really surprise you? Also, don't forget that Trump boasts of his ability to get ratings so it makes perfect sense that folks are going to write about him and his campaign. And the final thing I'd point out is that what so many of his supporters like about Trump--that he is unconventional and not politically correct make him an even bigger story. He's a virtual bull in a china shop--it goes without saying that he's going to get a LOT of scrutiny because of the way he's conducted his campaign.

By contrast, Hillary is boring. She's a known quantity (flaws and all) and is running a conventional campaign. They still do stories on her Clinton Foundation shenanigans and the accusations of pay to play, but honestly--those kinds of stories have been pushed by the Republicans for years nothing has ever been proved and the electorate either don't care or don't buy into the allegations. And not every site is Breitbart or World Net Daily and going to insinuate that the Clintons are murderers having people killed, so you can't expect Politico to engage in those types of antics.

Many, if not most, voters see Trump and his campaign as a trainwreck. That's not true for here at Voat and not true for people who regularly read right-wing news sites, but it's true nonetheless. Sites like Politico are writing stories about Trump because they are popular with their readers. And it isn't as if all these articles are attack pieces--most of them are just reporting on what's going on within his campaign or what he says in his speeches. Trump is GREAT at generating news and dominating the news cycle. He chose not to run a traditional campaign and to break all the rules of campaigning so OF COURSE they're going to cover it.

Yeah, I really don't think that this is a good example of bias. Hillary is boring, whereas trump openly brags about his ability to dominate the media.

EDIT: and I should point out that beyond Trump's campaign being a trainwreck to the general public, he just came off probably the worst chunk of time in any campaign, unveiled a tax plan, shuffled his campaign leadership, and continues to make bold statements that get picked up by the media (recently disparaging the intelligence community).

Interesting.

Hillary is boring

Maybe as a person and hearing her talk is certainly boring but other media outlets thrive on her as great entertainment when they include all her scandals, lies and outright racism. Covering all the laws she's broken over the years is not boring.

and I should point out that beyond Trump's campaign being a trainwreck to the general public

Painting with a broad brush are we? I suppose you know the entire general public. It's quite funny how Trump managed to break the ALL TIME record number of delegates ever for a candidate on his side of the aisle but we're just going to pretend the general public thinks he's a trainwreck. Even when he packs the house and has more overflow at his rallies than Hillary has in attendance altogether. Hillary can't walk up stairs, she's has to prop herself up because her back is weak, she won't be able to stand one-on-one against Trump ever. Not in this life and nothing the lying media does will change it this time around.

Oh yeah let's not forget Hillary pays for people to come to her rallies. And even tries to get illegals who can't vote to vote for her.

Yeah because $hillary's getting sicker and an LA Times poll this morning shows her lead has fallen to only half a percent. This is a savage liberal media animal backed into the corner.
