I pointed out that there are any number of scientific studies proving it's not about what you eat but how much. That fell on deaf ears of course.
I hate the implication that people are fat because they are poor and can't afford good food so damn much. I grew up dirt ass poor. No running water or working electricity often poor. We didn't get fast food we couldn't afford it. $20-$25 dollar might be what we had to feed everyone for the whole week. Hell the man and I had fast food a few weeks ago and it was $15 for our meals. I don't consider that a cheap meal at all.
I have decided a larger portion of the population has nothing I want to eat confused with nothing to eat.

McDonalds is not cheap. Fat people are lazy and complacent. That's how they get fat. And that's why they stay fat.

Long story short---the kind of food doesn't really matter. It's simple CICO. I can personally prove it. I lost pregnancy weight by counting calories and a little more exercise. Know what I ate while counting calories? Beer, coffee, cake, sometimes chips, veggies, sweet tea, and pretty much whatever I wanted and still lost the weight.
