I vaguely remember when NPR was decent. They've taken a nose dive in quality and journalistic integrity in recent years

I felt a real sense of sadness when I read this. It was the last nail in the coffin for me and my relationship with NPR. I listened to them sell out on several occasions, in particular when they did a special feature on a local tourist trap that just went through renovations. It was a real fluff piece if I ever heard one, the kind my journalism professors would have failed me just for submitting alone. Good on them for covering their own and keeping solidarity, but that was pure fucking hypocrisy.
