The science is sound, there's nothing your body can do to "digest" that PTFE. (always why I thought people freaking out about teflon from pans flaking off and being ingested was funny.) the problem is there's nothing on earth that can digest PTFE. Hence, it will enter the biome and basically stay PTFE forever.

Plus, thermal decomp products are nasty. HF and I'd assume a COx

I wouldn't expect much HF as there is no H in the PTFE molecule. Most of the products would be various mixes of C-O-F molecules. There's some that can wreak a lot of havoc though, like PFIB, and PFOA. All this of course needs the PTFE to be heated above 300C or more.

Since satiety is largely due to stretch of the stomach and people tend to eat a consistent weight of food, increasing food volume and mass increases satiety.

There's already a miraculous and readily available chemical which can be used for this purpose. It's commonly known as fucking water. There are also these things called vegetables which have a high nutrient density and a low caloric density, which reminds me of another miracle substance called motherfucking fiber.

Hoooooooooooly shit. The rage in me is real right now, people. I can't. I just can't. I mean, all the food these bariatric shit stains need to nourish and satisfy them is literally growing from the earth and they'd actually rather consider putting fucking PTFE in their food instead because it might allow them to keep eating disgusting slop without blowing up like Violet from Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.

Maybe we should just put barium in the bariatric creatures' beetus supplies.

I am kinda scared to ask how you came across this

That has to be rejected immediately right? Even if everything works as intended, which I seriously doubt, there would be tons and tons of plastic being flushed down the toilet ever day.

PTFE is what we use to coat the inside of industrial water valves. It's not the first thing I associate with materials I would like to eat. But there was a study earlier about fats taking poop pills from shitpeople because they have better gut bacteria. Fats are more willing to eat literal shit and industrial plastic than maybe just a bit less of what they currently do. I can't believe this gets backing. Just tell them to put the fork down already. This is getting ridiculous.

Exactly. Why do they think shitpeople have good bacteria?

I don't know, felt like this is a pointless endeavour. I mean there are various valid ways for hams to lose their weight, including eating the right stuff in right amount but they're not doing it, simply because they just don't care. I think the one thing that would kinda work is that medically produced algae that supposed taste like bacon when cooked and has twice the nutrition of kale. Even then, you know hams are still going to continue eating their beetus food in excess amount just because they can.

Why not just shovel dirt into your mouth at that point?

Teflon is horrible. Everyone should get ceramic pans. Traces of it are found in embryos and it's evil, horrible stuff. It kills birds. Teflon at about any heat gives off fumes that kill birds. They just keel over off their perches. Canary in coal mine type stuff. Please everyone, don't buy Teflon. Don't use it.
