Fun fact: When European missionaries first arrived in Uganda in the late 1800's the blacks there were astounded to learn that the whites could actually swim in Lake Victoria. Swimming was considered a miraculous feat for blacks.

They weren't even smart enough to learn how to swim.

A fucking tie in a race? If there's a tie in a race then all that means is that your technology is too shitty to detect who actually won. Its not even a subjective thing like scoring in gymnastics, this is an entirely measurable event.

This is the goddamn olympics how the fuck can anyone be satisfied with some kind od bullahit hugbox outcome like this

Our tech is just fine for detecting these tiny differences. The problem is the tech would bump into our engineering. Walls, floors, and other such things aren't perfectly flat, right angles. Yeah, it's "good enough" but when you're doing super-precise stuff like measuring time with three decimal places or building rockets, "good enough" isn't good enough. The parts can be out of line just by enough to kill everyone, and ol' blacky over there could take the gold because the wall on her lane of the pool was angled 1/500th of a degree closer to her. And this is the first world. Imagine fucking Brazil.

They probably rounded her time up to create the tie. The whole fucking world is hellbent on "diversity".
