Let's be straight about this: it's not a fucking flaw. It was by design. You really think that it was accidentally put in there? Hellz naw, that shit was planned out.

A group of hackers, or security researchers if you want, have shown that thanks to a number of changes related to the way UEFI works on Windows systems, said systems are now far less secure. Microsoft screwed up in their Secure Boot implementation and the researchers were able to bypass the security feature and install different operating systems or malicious rootkits.
I have been telling you people again and again. The always online cloud is pure madness. It makes absolutely no sense that if I want to type a word document that I need Internet access and expose myself to the dangers of the Internet.
I propose to disconnect your Windows PC from the Internet and use a Linux tablet to surf and online activities.

Access to anything on your PC when it gets compromised and can install rootkits even bypassing the OS. That rootkit can piggyback on the data stream from your cloud connection because you punched a hole in the fire wall defenses. (Think about trojan advertisements)

Nobody wanted secure boot to begin with so what's the problem?
