Me and friends were sleeping in sand dune on an island. I woke up because something was pulling my sock. It was a fox it backed up but stayed and stared at me. I told my friend to wake up and there was a fox. It crept slowly back down toward us my friend screamed it jumped like 15 feet in the air and took off.

I was camping the other night and at about 11:30 at night, I heard a wood knock. Supposedly, these are sasquatch communicating with each other. I am not an active believer in bigfoot, but I am also not an active denier. I started wondering, if bigfoot doesn't exist, what would be making that noise? I've heard it almost every time I go camping. Keep in mind I only go camping in remote locations, preferably somewhere I have to hike 5 or more miles to get to. The other night I was just off a road. We went all the way to the end of the road and there were no other spots nearby. There are no other roads this far down, nor trails. The terrain is rugged. We were alone. So what made the noise?

%100 of the time I'm out bush, close to the city, I find bongs and sex toys, the funniest was a dickpump.
Some of the creepy shit I've seen,
A bag full of dolls heads and used condoms
A collage of porn pics with all the girls eyes scratched out
I've had other wierd experiences in the wild

I'm too lazy to type out all of them (and the ones that happened to family and friends) lol.
Went to leave my camp at 2am (wanted to try night hiking for the first time) get about 2km down the track and there's something rustling bushes and making noises about 20m off the track just outside of my torch range, keep moving and the sound follows me for another 2km, nope the fuck out and start walking back to camp, rekindled the fire And until dawn I could here the same noises around the camp site :/...8 years later of hiking and I'm still unaware of what it could've been

Ever heard a den of baby coyotes late at night while you are way out alone camping? That is some straight up cackling witches coven shit!
[Sorry, I realize that this might not be in the correct spirit of the question but it was the first thing that came to mind.]

lol, That is less "creepy" and more of a "Welp, I'm fucking gonna die now"

Saw a deer shit itself because it got curious and tried to smell an electric fence in the rain.

one time camping/portaging as a kid with the family, my dad's running shoe went missing. just one shoe.
now before I go into detail we were at this isolated campsites for a couple days. no other campsites within walking distance. for the course those days dad had to wear my brother's small little sandal and it pissed him off no less, so if he was playing a joke he stretched it out over a couple of days at his own discomfort of having to walk around with a child's sandal on.
on the forth day I believe my brother and i were exploring the forest and found this old barely noticeable trail. we followed it quite a ways to a clearing on the forest where there was what I could describe a large séance circle of stones. probably 30ft in diameter with other symbols made from stones on the edges.
and what do we see sitting smack right on the middle of this creepy circle of stones?
my dad's shoe.
yeah didn't sleep too well that final night.
sry my phone isn't capitalizing words.
