Daaaamn, old-fashioned shitlording is better than porn. Though it does offer a similarly shallow and temporary relief - sadly, no sooner am I energized by this vigorous fat hate, than I'm forced to look out the window at the waddling hordes of bloated degenerates that are slowly but surely clogging up the gears of society. Then I must admit with pain that such words have never been enough to slow the tide of butter. :(

It's almost depressing how recently obesity has become so normalized, if not preferred.

I work at a theme park and the overweights outnumber the normal weights.... the physically fit or really thin are a downright anomaly. Not to mention the fat fucks who feed their kids too much..... it's so saddening to see the number of young kids who should be enjoying their life to the full, but instead carry around FUPAs due to their parents' poor life choices.

While that should be child abuse, it's almost considered offensive to point that out. Fuck society.

Part of me can't wait for my country's (Canada) healthcare system to collapse so that the government is forced to face the facts despite majority being overweight. Trudeau seems like a shitlord, I hope? I guess we just have to wait and see.

I'm a history geek and really, really sick of current politics. As one of my 'mental therapies' I like to search old newspapers for terms that are relevant today to see what they were saying long ago. I searched 'obese' last night and got this on one of the very first search results. I think there is a treasure trove of things I'm going to find if I do this again, which I suspect I will. I'll share.

I looked up "gink" (because I'd never seen the word before)

"A foolish or contemptible person"

Perfect.

Wonder how those "but Marilyn Monroe was a size 242533 too!" beasts would react to this. No, enormously obese people were never considered attractive or desirable, even in the early 20th century.

Most offensive of all is that Goodwin's Weekly says that being fat is no better than being an alcoholic, and should have the same stigma.

"You can get rid of that fat if you'll quit feeding it."

Also, new word for my vocab - gormandize.

Fun fact: Gourmandise comes from the French word Gourmand, meaning to opposite of Gourmet. So, if Gormet is thoroughly enjoying small amounts of savory, delicious morsels, Gourmand is wolfing down enormous amounts of trashy food.
