This is the same thing I thought. Maybe if it was accessible people would watch it? Cord-cutting is growing in popularity, and although not as fast as some people like to think, those who do so aren't able to watch the games.
Kind of missed an opportunity to sell some internet ads if you ask me. Especially after paying more than a billion dollars for the privilege to broadcast the games.

I hate watching sports, but I actually wanted to watch the volleyball games last night. Since I stream everything though, there's no way for me to watch. Oh well, less ad revenue for them.

I tried watching but it was so boring I fell asleep. Anything in Portuguese went right by me, the floor screen got old fast, and when they claimed Brazil was responsible for the first powered flight they completely lost me.
