It seems less like misspelled words, and more like the wrong words.
"We went they're yesterday" is not a case of a misspelled word, but rather a case of the person not knowing that they used the wrong word.
I may twitch a little bit when I see "definately," but not as much as when I see "deafeningly" used instead.
Spell check is not going to fix a lack of reading comprehension.

Depends on the keyboard being used on the phone.
I have hacker's keyboard on my tablet but the autocorrect is terrible.
