Would this qualify as a correction? Here's the post currently at the top of v/politics. https://voat.co/v/politics/comments/1215499
This post appears to indicate that Hillary Clinton is doing something wrong, or perhaps even violating the laws. Maybe she is.
But Republicans oppose these laws. In fact, there is a very famous case in Wisconsin called the "John Doe case" where state Supreme Court judges who received contributions have decided that "coordination" is virtually impossible, and have literally sealed records of the people involved in the case.
We can't support Republicans claiming Democrats are doing wrong when Republicans are against it being wrong and would repeal the rules when they gain power. then, people wonder why their views aren't taken seriously. Because they are not serious views. :)
There is no commentary about this little problem there -- yet. :D
On a related issue, I like to post stuff that bends the minds of partisans and forces them to choose one conflicted idea over another. Think! THINK!!! LOL
Sometimes they bomb out, sometimes, I'm surprised. Here's the latest success story on this conflicting issues idea. https://voat.co/v/Conspiracy/comments/1214761

That is an interesting note; however, you make the claim that it's only the republicans that are angry at Hillary for breaking these laws. The fact of the matter is that even democrats are mad at her for breaking these laws.
I definitely agree that, if one is a hardcore republican, they cannot really get mad at her since they want those laws repealed in the first place. But, this only applies to those that want those laws repealed. Anyone who doesn't want those laws removed has every right to be angry with Hillary for the crimes she commits.

Not at all what I intended. Rather, some Republicans will hammer these things into our brains at the exclusion of other information for partisan purposes in total hypocrisy so that they can get Republican candidates in who will repeal what's left of the campaign laws. These are the types of Republicans that proliferate Voat.
Most people approve of these laws and want much stricter rules on campaign funding and electioneering -- including Republicans strangely enough.
Do you really think Republican sites like Free Beacon, Breitbart, and RealClearPolitics actually care that Hillary might be "coordinating"? I'm sure that it is only for the purpose of discrediting her illegitimately -- with perhaps a touch of jealousy!
While the post in question is the excellent work of a Goat -- when the partisan Republican spin machine puts out stories like this, they know exactly what they are doing -- that's called LYING too.
I know how Voat handles these things from history. Try posting a Koch brothers story and watch the downvotes and the comments. One comment is always "SOROS!" And of course, it's upvoated. Then, try posting a Soros story and see how it rockets to the top with no criticism or analysis whatsoever...
Unless the "analysis" points to a Republican partisan site that distorts the reality and fakes that Soros spends more that Kochs. I can assure you that -- no, Soros does not spend more.
So then, I can go on to explain that Koch brothers spend far more money and started decades earlier -- and it all falls on deaf ears.
Can you imagine ... Hillary Clinton gets indicted for electioneering crimes and the next person repeals all those laws? What a crazy world of propaganda we live in. :D
