That sucks man, they'd be fun to read through.

I read them everyday for over 3 years. Literally with every shit I took. I actually had them almost memorized. I remember everything about them, so I still have the experience of owning them, but you're right. It'd definitely still he fun to look through them. I mainly regret throwing away the posters though.
I used to love the celebrity profiles they'd do. The will Smith and Jay Leno ones were kinda interesting lol.. The best parts were where people would write in and ask questions. Counsellor's Corner I think it was called.
The contests were cool too. Same with the comics with Nes... They also had Star Fox and Star Wars comics too.

Thats not so bad. Someone I knew threw out over 50 boxed snes games back in 2005 including chronotrigger, final fantasy 2 and 3, zelda, metroid, mario. He was like "I was moving and they arnt worth anything anyways." I corrected him, he was angry at me.
Even at the time a chronotrigger complete was over 100$. He probably threw away around $3000 worth of stuff.
You can look through them on the internet archive.

We all feel that way, else they wouldn't be worth $500.

That's just a ballpark figure too. They might even be worth a bit more. Who knows. It's not about the money though. I just wish I still had them. I had a fucking shit ton of gaming magazines. Gamepro, PC Gamer, and a bunch that went out of business a long time ago that I can't even remember right now.

Shit like this is why I vehemently oppose copyright law and the failfags that support it. We have already lost, FOREVER, massive portions of the silent film era, a large chunk of doctor who, possibly the first superbowl (there IS an existing copy, but copyfags are preventing the guy who has it from sharing it!), god only knows how many magazines... all to money grubbing fuckers more worried about milking Mickey's mousedick for another decade than about preserving our culture and arts.

I think it's a reasonable estimate. I had a big box full of them, never had them all, but had a subscription for years and lost them somehow in the years since. I've seen offers on craigslist and such and they were priced at 500$. Wish I had them too. Also, there's this post today if you didn't see it yet: https://www.voat.co/v/gaming/comments/1212119

Ultra Game Players.. That was another one. Kinda more obscure too.
