In defense of the closed nation:

  • The openers want your wifes, mothers, daughters, and as well as sons, to be raped and murdered in the streets by third-world savages - like is happening in Europe.

  • The openers want to steal your wealth and redistribute it to third-world criminal governments who will then line their own pockets with it.

  • The openers want trade-deal after trade-deal, exporting as many middle-class wealth producing jobs as they can to the third-world (whose workers will NOT receive those same wages), and to flood your nation with cheap foreign labor in order to force you to work for lower and lower wages.

  • The openers wish to subvert the laws of your nation via those very same trade-deals, as well as binding resolutions through the U.N. - all because some corporations want labor, safety, environmental and product safety regulations abolished, and third-world Muslims can't stand the fact that Americans are allowed to believe and say what they wish.

  • The openers have already made it clear that they believe you do NOT deserve the rights you have in your nations, and have already made great strides toward ending the freedom of speech - because of said angry third-world Muslims mentioned above.

  • The openers are actively pushing toward a one-world system, with one oppressive government to rule us all.

  • The openers embrace communism in all of its forms - no matter how many times it has failed. The goal of communism is to achieve "equality of outcome" by impoverishing everyone (except the inner-party, of course) and destroying all upward mobility so no one can make a better life for themselves ever again. The openers want you to exist only as a vassal slave to the state.

  • The openers support the dilution and eventual assimilation of the cultures of your nations, to make you easier to rule, as the result is you will have no shared heritage, culture, traditions, or identity - and without that, nothing to rally around or fight for. One merely has to look at Mao's "Cultural Revolution" to see the effect of erasing a people's heritage, culture, traditions and identity. Chinese citizens will watch as a child is repeatedly run over in the street and not a single one will help this child. The citizens of China have become completely demoralized due to Mao's cultural revolution, and not only won't fight back against their government, but won't help a child crying for help in the streets.

  • The openers are supremely hypocritical; they won't leave their doors unlocked and invite random strangers off the street into their own houses to help themselves to THEIR wealth and THEIR resources, but expect your nation to do the same for un-vetted third-world refugees, many of which have told us many times that their aim is to DESTROY our nations.

With closers, you get none of this insanity. Instead, you get a stable and safe nation that concerns itself with ITS affairs and ITS prosperity, while aiding those who are truly in need, instead of lining the pockets of crooked governments around the globe while pushing for the obliteration of your nations and cultures.

Globalism is going to drag us back to the Middle Ages.

Hows that globalism working out?

You want globalism, real globalism? Keep American politicians far, far away from it. Let Japan or better, The Dalai Lama be the leader. Someone so benevolent and ethical they are the foundation for those words.

Not corruption incarnate. And I'm American.

Japan isn't multicultural - it's a monoculture and xenophobic to boot.

However, Japan is the perfect argument against the globalists who tell us that xenophobia, monoculture and isolationism leads to a weak economy and a faltering nation - Japan has a strong economy and not only are they not faltering, but their xenophobia & monoculture have ensured Japan will REMAIN Japan.

I would also prefer a libertarian system but somehow people think minding your own fucking business is a detriment to their way of living? Go figure?.

On July 26th two men claiming allegiance to Islamic State slit the throat of an 85-year-old Catholic priest in a church near Rouen. It was the latest in a string of terrorist atrocities in France and Germany. The danger is that a rising sense of insecurity will lead to more electoral victories for closed-world types. This is the gravest risk to the free world since communism. Nothing matters more than countering it.

Wow, can (((the economist))) get anymore blatant. Yeah, right, Islamic terrorism is bad because it moves politics to the right, not because people don't want to be killed by an actively hostile outgroup that they've been forced to support for a good portion of their lives.

I love how they claim "lower living standards" will be the result of nationalism. Yeah, for the wealthy corporate donor class. For workers, protection from cheap competition will absolutely, without question raise wages and shrink the gap between the 99% and the 1% liberals are always complaining about. Funny how that issue doesn't seem to matter to them this season.
