Clarke novels are accurate and believable compared to that other book. Even his short story "The Last Question" is more likely to come true than anything in Revelations.

I lived in San Francisco for six years. The most out of touch group of people I have ever come across. I had an hour long conversation at work once on why implementing public transit across the whole of America and banning cars completely just wasn't viable. They just have no concept of rural or small town life. Not to mention no family values. What's right is wrong, wrong is right. Remember, these were people raised by hippies, and now they are having children. It's pretty removed from the rest of the real world. I would just shake my head sometimes and walk away. The tech bubble has just added another layer of crazy.

Got a good one. I went to school in At UBC for a year and lived in the dorms. One of the super rich Chinese kids that populated my school lived on the same floor as me. Her first day there she took a shower in the public bathroom and then just left all her clothes strewn about. She assumed the maid would come pick them up an wash them.

Hilary's presidential campaign from the start.

You're incorrect. Her campaign people know the reality of the US and know what they are doing.
The reality break occurs with Hillary's non-paid supporters: I.e: American's who will vote for her without being paid to do so...

I have a co-worker who is voting Hillary, because "Donald Trump will ruin everything we've ever worked for". I'm not a trump supporter, but this is obvious hyperbole.
Anyway, later on in the conversation gay rights get brought up. I mentioned how Hillary has flip flopped on this issue and is quoted as saying that marriage only exists between a man and a woman. He replies with "well, it was politically expedient for her to say that at the time." And I asked if it was just politically expedient for her to changer her mind in the current year. He said no, then said a whole bunch of shit about how she is talking from the heart, etc.
It's fucking retarded. He is normally a very reasonable person, but I feel like he is just brainwashed when it comes to politics.
I also caught him browsing Reddit multiple times.

That is what happens when you fail to read opposing views.
