I'm right there with you needle, 38 years as a registered Democrat and I am exploring the options. While I am not throwing my direct support to Mr. Trump I most certainly, and in specific terms, will not vote for the vile Hillary Rodham Clinton. Never, her and her crew are responsible for the downfall of our party.

I will watch the election and debates and make my decision to either vote for Mr. Trump or not based on the information that I receive.

Edit: left out the "not" in front of the "vote for Hillary..." What was I thinking, I not even drunk (yet)

Genuine question: Why would you vote for Obama after the first term? He really proved himself to be full of shit in the first term

Same here. I even pulled levers for Dukakis and Kerry knowing they were shit heads at the time [and Kerry I don't think shit-head is strong enough]

Never Hillary so it has to be Trump. Even if he burns it all down we are going that way anyway.

#DemExit is a bad name. Why not #DeMparture or #DEMtach? #Brexit worked because it made a good sounding word, trying to put exit on the end of everything else is just clunky.

It's a fantastic meme, wtf. Perfectly timed too

Not really, it doesn't flow off the tongue easily.

We're not talking about naming the high school dance here. Anything works for this cause.

Wut? First you say it's a fantastic meme, then you say you don't need any of the "meme" qualities because anything will work? No, you need something that catches people's attention, is easy to say and repeat and latches into the mind. Marketing of an idea like this is crucial, that's why Brexit worked. DemExit is terrible.

The name is not the point, but the show of solidarity against Clinton and the corrupt DNC. Also, Brexit only sounds like a good word because they didn't capitalize the E. If they had, it could have sounded like "Br Exit".

I can't believe I'm voting Republican this year. The Dems have just gone too far, I don't see it as I'm leaving the party, but that they left me.

Political correctness has gone too far, it's become a religion to the Left and as a white, straight male they've made it quite clear that I'm no longer welcome.

If JFK were here to see the current Democrat Party, he wouldn't recognize it.

Look at JFK's campaign platform... It's nearly identical to a "wish list" platform for a modern conservative (not Republican or neocon, but an actual conservative).

Stop calling yourself a dem. Thats like calling yourself a feminist in todays world when you stand for equality. That word doesnt mean what it meant when you started identifying as it. Dem now means SJW socialist retard. Just say you are a moderate or something else that isnt so terrible.

I think noone should identify as a party voter. It's what makes identity politics what it is.

People should reassess every year there is a vote. Every time.

And if your party loses, you haven't lost a fucking thing. It's not sports. It's fucking politics.

I guess I need to make it clear that I did not write this article (which is why I put quotation marks around the title). I had hoped by putting quotation marks around it it'd indicate I was not the author (who used the word "I" in the title). Sorry for any confusion!

I didn't read the article, I figured that I already lived it.
