Oh this hits home. I've always voted Democrat even when it was shitty Kerry, but I'm voting Trump. As others have pointed out, hes the old school Liberal in this race.

I'm so glad this article has been inspiring fellow 'closet Dems' to speak up and share our stories. Seems like we're all on the same page too. :)

I'm an old school moderate Democrat/Liberal. I like Western culture and values and think that they're the best. I think we should stop demonizing ourselves and our country and culture, fix our shit and mind our own damned business. I caucused for Sanders in February because he was talking about the corruption of the system, then he cucked out for BLM and rolled over and I got on board the Trump train. Trump is the last remaining candidate who gives a shit and seems far less likely to get us into another war.

I would resign from the Democratic party, but I have political ambitions and my area is solidly blue (even the damned sheriff is a Democrat!)

I saved a PDF of this for the next time my sister in law goes off about Trump. She only knows what the mainstream media feeds her. Combine that with the vagina vote and she supports Hillary. Good thing she's Canadian and can't vote. If only we were Mexican.....

I am in a similar position. I am a lefty, who would never vote for Hillery. For a while I thought I would vote Trump, since his platform seems to be one of moderation, world stability, and focusing on building up the US.

But the more I think about it the more I believe it is more important to break the two party system than to strategically vote.

I hope Trump wins. But if I was allowed to vote, it would go to Jill. She has displayed more integrity and honesty than any of the other candidates. Her values also come fairly close to mine.
