What I don't get is the relative effort. To go through the process of coming to this hypothetical state of acceptance and happiness with obesity has shown to take them years. They all talk about how they have spent decades hating themselves and trying not to and that it's always a battle. Weight loss, however, only needs to be done once and it only takes 1 year unless you're crazy fat. After it's done, it's not a battle. You just like yourself. Fats don't seem to understand that their road of acceptance is actually way harder.

They love their victim complex and attention. Reminds me of this. Even if they do gain acceptance, they'll still look for shit to complain about because really they enjoy being self-righteous victims who can play their victim card whenever they want in order to get the attention that they so desperately crave.

I read "Were you able to discard your cats seatbelt extender" and I like that version of your monologue better

When all is said and done, they will have very little to show for their efforts aside from collateral damage.
Although I suppose the same could be said of the primary causes of obesity in the first place (gluttony & sloth), so perhaps not that surprising?

They've accomplished none of this, so step 2 is to start trying to convert the rest of society. Attack fit people you lust after who think obesity is physically repulsive so that they're the asshole for not reciprocating your interest. Normalize shitty health, redefine the metrics we use to determine health, and undermine anything that contradicts that delusional narrative.
This is when HAES people become militant and generally shitty. They've reached the limits of what deluding themselves can accomplish so they move on to deluding society.
