The forever stopping for snacks gets me. I love driving and used to do a lot more really long distance drives. I found it calming. Once, I had passengers with me and another group in another car and we had to sop SOOO many times. They never stop eating or drinking and thus need to constantly refuel and expel. I don't normally consider stopping earlier than 2-3 hours, but we were stopped and waiting every damn 30 minutes. Why do you need so much energy to sit still?

Implying like they give a shit about others. Many of them live to destroy the lives around them just to feel better about themselves.

Oh wow, am an internet stranger but I'm so sorry for your cousin and for you. Just last night here there were some ridiculous posts by some repetitive idiot who kept re-posting that parents have nothing to do with their children becoming obese. Sure. Anyway, hope your cousin takes you as her example and beats the odds. And hopefully doesn't repeat her mother's mistake of marrying a horribly selfish once-man eat monster.

Lol, what? I am glad I missed the repetitive idiot. How they go back and forth, "everyone in my family is fat, it's not my fault! Guhnetiks!!!!" We've heard it all. Hope they got b&.

You're welcome, and I'm pretty sure it did. If you've lurked as much as I have around here I'm sure you're already familiar with where the whole staying-together-for-the-children goes: to fat, literally, because like other addicts, eat beasts are "enable or join me in my addiction or GTFO." What's worse than run-of-the-mill addicts is that nonstop eating is now being pandered to on a global scale :( Lazy food-devouring slobs are the best consumers and the most impulsive led-by-the-nose narcissists, IMHO./ok much love & got to get off my ass now (((HUG)))

Just feel the need to say this; "Writing well" and "storytelling" are not a magical craft. It's very easy to write and you did it quite well and coherently.
Just tell the facts, and tell them in order.
I hate to think of all the people in this world not posting because they are intimidated by people who are literally masters of the craft by interest, profession, or education. ANYONE can write well, just needs to be authentic. Even professionals rely on editors. You're making a forum post.
And sorry, I don't mean to lecture here or at you specifically!! I just see people say that soooooooooo much.
