Health and fitness forums are filled with fads and spam. Exercise is about consistency. If I wanted something new, I'd read a book by a professional athletic trainer that has produced champions.

Its not merely about fit people don't have time to bash fat people.
What its about is that people who take care of themselves and don't want to be a burden to society and carries their own, has to put up with fats who make bad life choices and forcing their entitlement onto those people who want to live right.
There's three basic levels of dissatisfaction. * Basic disgust for people who continues to make bad choices and are delusionally feeding their bad choices with more bad excuse1.s. * The fact they can be thin, without having to resort to becoming a gym maniac or simply living a normal life eating normal portions. Its not that hard. * The culmination of the first two, which is extended by a feeling of entitlement despite the fact that so many over weight people are on some sort of government assistance of some sort.
If it was just the first two, I don't think the ranks of FPH would be filled with fat haters. Just imo.
But people are fed up. They are fed up with people who make bad choices in life yet someone else is picking up the tab. Whats worse is the attitude fats have that they feel they are somehow entitled to it, all the while acting like shits themselves in public and on the internet.
Why shouldn't tax payers who live a healthy life and don't require, in-home care, or to use a mobile cart when they go shopping, $1000 of food per week, or additional medical care and costs, not to mention organ donors who have to give to these people who obviously don't give a shit about life where a person who deserves it has to go behind the lines because fats are all in line due to their bad choices, have a voice.
The problem is its become socially unacceptable to voice these opinions in public because of the ridiculous PC movement going on right now, when if you're flipping the bill for something so stupid, then you should have every right to make public comments without reprisal.
That's why the FPH is so filled with people who are just fed up and aggravated by stupid ridiculous excuses they hear day in and day out for not losing weight when these beasts show they can put away enough food to feed a family of 5 in one sitting.
When all you hear is "I have a gland issue", "I have a thyroid issue", "I can't lose weight even tho I only eat 500 calories a day", bla bla bla bla... It is extremely frustrating.
If all government support programs for fats were taken away today, not only would you have less fat people, but no one here would give a shit, because people will be now responsible for their own BAD choices.

There it is! I was hoping someone would "get it".
People on FPH don't really care about fitness, they just care about not being fat and tearing down others to lift themselves up just like everybody else, which is fine I guess, but it's kind of funny how they purposefully seek out stuff to be mad about. Like yeah, fat logic is a problem and it needs to be corrected, but you're not doing anything to fix it by screencapping tumblr posts and circlejerking about how gross fat people are in your own little echo chamber. It's just like the people on /v/SJWHate who spend all day on Twitter and Tumblr, or people on /v/niggers who spend all day crawling local crime pages looking for anything involving a black guy. Just a bunch of people seeking outrage and validation. But hey, that's your right man and I'm not going to tell you to stop doing it. They've done a pretty good job at keeping their memes to their own little space so I have no beef with them. The people on /v/niggers get a little rowdy in other subs sometimes but it's not too bad.

Seems like you hit the nail on the head.

I got banned there a long time ago because some dude was raging hard as fuck about being NEAR fat people. And I said he was crazy. Got banned LOL. Here's my exact comment: "There's fat people hate then there's just being fucking crazy. You sir are the latter." And the thread: https://voat.co/v/fatpeoplehate/comments/563738

Yep I second that. I'm always looking for more workout ideas

I go to the gym regularly and almost all people dont give two shits about your workout.
The only time people will tolerate listening to how your workout went is if you are a hot girl.

I don't agree. Myself and my gym buddy used to browse /fit/ and would read other peoples work out and try some of them. A lot of people are lurkers, so you may not get a bunch of kudos, but people do read them. If voat had a thread view counter you would see it's much more than the up votes.

Btw Voat actually does have a counter. Click on the three bars button in the top left of a thread.

Maybe thats because we mostly know that you don't have to get into health/fitness to remain human sized you just have to not eat all the things :)
[–] Gorillion 0 points 16 points 16 points (+16|-0) ago (edited ago)
Yeah, I've tested this. Lost way more weight eating less (just ended up counting out hours between meals) than hitting the gym. With regular walking as my only exercise.
When you eat less, you can lash out on nicer things for main meals too. I went a bit mad on Asian food and that helped take off more weight because while it's not super-calorific and has more controlled portions you don't feel "under-fed". I think a lot of fatties are emotional or "reward" eaters, so eating something that you perceive to be "reward level" is helpful to the head game in the early weeks of changing shit up.
