I don't understand why fatties are so averse to walking. As somebody with a less than perfectly functional heart, I totally get disliking serious cardio. It requires a lot of effort and can be exhausting. But walking? Seriously? As long as the weather isn't out of control, walking is downright relaxing. Even very old people can enjoy a stroll. I think maybe the issue fatties have with walking is the chub rub they get from their fat thighs rubbing together. I hear it's very unpleasant.

During clinicals there was a girl that couldn't make it up the stairs without almost passing out. My clinical instructor started taking us up the "wrong" flights of stairs or not telling us where we were going and accidentally take us up a flight or two extra. She would make comments like "remember, as a nurse you need to be able to run blood up to the labs stat and be able to get to your patients and safely lift them or perform CPR". This girl would get pissed when we were asked to do "cna" like things because "we should be learning to be nurses." She thought the instructor was picking on her. Okay, she kinda was bahahaha. I can only imagine what she's doing now.

Socialism units!? Ahahahahaha get fucked mate ;) Love your story though 16/16. I use 16 because 10 is a number reserved for evolved units

Everything is quite nice until the instructor looks up, as if she's felt a disturbance in the force, scrunches her face, and mutters "here they come."
That's because they all took the elevator. Fatties always arrive together because they have to wait for the elevator to carry them.
spoiler alert: I'm 5'10"/155 (that's about 178cm/70kg in socialism units)... I'm not skinny...
You're exactly as tall and as heavy as I am, kinda creepy. I've been called anorexic several times. I wish I had your wits, however, I usually just brush it off because fatlogic stresses me out way too much.

Pretty surprising actually. You gotta give it to them here. Being proactive with their health and signing up for the course to maximize the chance of immediate administration of CPR when they inevitably have a heart attack.

Fuck knows I wouldn't do it to 'em. I'd feign ignorance while franticly burning my card.

Any attempts would probably be fruitless anyhow. I think you would need the equivalent strength of a 495lb bench press to perform chest compressions and a 200CFM, 20 horsepower blower for mechanical ventilation of the lungs to adequately perform CPR on those blubber beasts

I feel guilty about driving anywhere less than 5-10 minutes. How can we have reached a point where you want to kill yourself for walking a few kms? I would go insane with that level of inactivity.

"Kinda skinny" at a BMI of 22.2, middle of the healthy range? Seriously?
