It's not fair! I buy all these workout clothes, I monitor my protein intake, and keep it from getting too low. I drink 3 protein shakes a day, and have added healthy energy and protein bars to my diet. I even joined a gym, but no matter what I do, I still cannot lose any weight. Must be geneteks.

God, the protein shakes. I know two fatties that drink them all the time; one is shakeology and one uses EAS protein powder. Hint: You don't need protein shakes if you don't do any activity to build muscle. Congratulations on wasting your money.

Because they probably read about protein on bodybuilding forums or saw some bullshit advertisement or some roided up youtuber selling supplements. A lot of them think they're swole, too. "I'm eating protein and protein makes you fit and strong." Meanwhile they've got double chins and a gut hanging over their genitals. Typical fat nonsense. It's like a child who either thinks they know what they're talking about when they don't, or at least desperately wants to convince you that they do.
If they focus on that, thinking it's 'healthy', they can ignore the rest of the swill they binge on. I don't think any of them know how good simple, natural food can be and they've always got excuses why they can't prepare their own. Adding three protein shakes on top of an already shitty, excessive diet and expecting to lose weight is beyond stupid. And hams are so fucking stupid - they're a corporate wet-dream.

Firstly, because if they claim to be bulking, they think they can get away with being fat. It also makes them think they can use the "it's all muscle" excuse.
Secondly, protein and monitoring it is associated with healthy people. Fats think that just being aware of protein that they will become fit and healthy or that they can trick fit people into believing they are health conscious.
Thirdly, attention. They will force themselves into any conversation using miscellaneous buzzwords so that people will look at them and talk to them.
Fourthly, fats see protein as another miracle weight loss supplement. As long as they overeat on protein, they will lose weight. Fats will believe anything marketed as a weight loss tool. The companies doing this aren't even trying and they are cleaning up.

Wow, that's it exactly.

Nailed it.

Thank you. Fatties are really that delusional aren't they?
[–] Carsandsarcasm ago
If anything, they are more delusional than that. Every time I think they can't get any dumber or more pathetic, they find a way. Who knows where the limit is?
