It wasn't a miscalculation. That would assume that someone had to have a thought that wasn't "Ooh, me again.". Fat people have no concept of consequences. Only entitlement. If it was a group of 30 fats they still would've tried to all squeeze in.

With all that weight in the lift I'm surprised the elevator cable didn't snap.

Don't know where this was but in USA the elevator has to have a catastrophic failure limit 3x the posted limit.

Of course they fucking lied about their own weight.

Wonder what the Fire fighters were saying after that fiasco.

Must be why my local FD is directly hiring, when normally it was a 5 year waiting list.

The fats in my local area have exploded in my local area, but they swear it's not to smoke pot.

I see a market opportunity here. With ~70% of Americans being fat, installable elevator flooring that weighs the total occupants and sends a "do not start" signal to the elevator when it hits it's (programmable) weight limit.

Nice elevators already have this feature.

That's why it's an installable floor, you can back-fit older elevators with no issues.

Surprised there were no whalesongs about 'discriminayshun' for a lift not being accessible to crowds of all weights :P
