  1. Go see the damn movie.

I thought going to see a movie because of the gender of the people in it made you a sexist? Obviously that only works one way. I also note that the quality of the movie isn't even mentioned here.

  1. Make that theater as rowdy and supportive as a bunch of drunk girls in a bar bathroom, AKA the pinnacle of supportive funtimes. Magic Mike and Magic Mike XXL became events known for women gathering in groups and very loudly and exuberantly crowding theaters with their joy. But I promise you, while I will never under-ride the power of the Magic Mike franchise, I know we can have just as much exuberant fun without the dudes.

Women are so wonderful that even acting like complete pieces of shit in a movie theatre becomes somehow positive and empowering when they do it.

  1. Lay waste to their childhoods with your joy. Dance through all the male tears.

Taking glee in women's pain makes you a monster. Taking glee in men's pain makes you a good person.

I came here to do exactly this. This article, and anyone who'd agree with it, are trash.

I like how Buzzfeed needs to tell its audience that one way to help the movie is to go see the movie. Let's just add that to the list of (unbelievable!) reasons why people who read Buzzfeed are retarded.

This is what bugs me. EVERY fucking "go girlzz" effort seems to resort to heavy pandering to get off the ground. Its almost like... gasp they are incapable of doing the work themselves to make it successful.

I love that this movie's failure will hurt SJWs / feminists as much as Paul Feige's career.

From the article, you'd be led to believe that women are incapable of loving the original... And they need to reboot it so they can love a franchise they couldn't before?

I think that's the epitome of progress for those types.

So I wanted to see how the little vote graph thingy at the bottom of the article was getting on.

Looks like they removed the "Fail" button so I'm guessing it had more votes than any of the positive options. It just gets sadder and sadder

From the archive

How it is now

Edit: Added screen shots.

Waste your money propping up this piece of shit movie out of spite.

It's like whatever they do, we win. Either the movie flops hard, or feminists and cucks waste their money on a shitty movie and it still flops hard. It's not like there's enough of them to make much of a dent.

When I went to see XMEN Apocalypse, they played the ghostbusters trailer. The audible groans from the people in the theatre speak volumes.

People can't even stomach the trailer, let alone have the urge to go see the movie in its entirety.

I get the feeling this is going to be one of those movies where people just get up and leave, once they've realised that it is indeed that bad. And word of mouth spreads like wildfire, people will tell their friends/family how terrible it is, they tell their friends/family and so on.

It was destined to flop from the moment that trailer went public.

They say "no publicity is bad publicity", but I don't think that's quite true. There's the bad publicity that comes out of controversy, that excites people and arouses their curiosity, and then there's the kind that reveals a weak thing for what it is. Feminists wish that it's the former, but it's the latter. Nobody out there is going "oh wow, they dared to make the ghostbusters female, this is so TABOO I'm going to sneak out and watch this movie despite my conservative white republican anti-gay christian parents telling me no". It's just not happening. The status quo is not controversial or taboo. The movie just looks like shit, and not even the "so bad it's good" kind of shit. When it comes time for people to make a decision on what to spend their money on, they'll go see something else, because they want something enjoyable.
