So the fact that SHE, HERSELF, was hesitant about buying the shorts is OK. But if a stranger expresses the same sentiment, it sends her reeeeeeeeing into a shame spiral. She should have listened to her own hesitation. And who the hell would compliment her head full of wild dried-up split ends?

I was going through old clothing and I found a skirt from Anthropologie I got years ago, I never wear it but I tested it to see if it fit. It did because I haven't gained since I bought it. DAMN, they were vanity sizing for years, there is no goddamn way I am a size 2, let alone a 4 according to a dress I got last month. Yet, here I am. I guess 2-4 is the new 8. I can’t imagine what an 8 now looks like. All my stuff from my mom from the 70’s is like 12-14 and sometimes snug. Maybe it’s based on pattern size?

Haha what a sympathy grab. "Can't start an acting career on looks or merit, so I'd better make a pity post and try and get that shit to go viral instead."
We should make it go viral, but for a whole different reason; the hypocrisy of bemoaning photoshop.

I tried to read that but all I got was "reeeeeeeeeeeeeee" and some oinking about positivity until strangers weren't falling all over themselves to compliment 100% of her. They're always all about positivity and "not tearing each other down" until you say anything that offends them, and then they devolve into a whirlwind of flailing negativity and impotent rage trying to tear you down (or not so impotent in doxxing cases and fake rape reports, unfortunately)
Silly buttergoblins. If they had even a fraction of the Pollyanna/Bad Ass Rebel Bitch personality they love to try and fake, none of the innocuous comments that they've written eight page rage-weepy replies to would register.

It is not courageous to wear a item of clothing. Courage, for this butterbeast, would be admitting that it looks and feels like shit and that it's destroying its body and life by being huge. And then doing something about it.

Fatties always seem to have "nice" hair, don't they? My guy says it's because it's the one thing that won't fat, just like their nails.

Even the stories they make up are pathetic and shameful.
The author of this piece was so incredibly shattered by a single remark that it took all her effort just to not bust into tears. What was this terrible remark you ask? A quip about a recently deceased beloved relative? Nope. Supposedly it was this:
No adult could function at all in the outside word if they were legitimately this sensitive to criticism. It just couldn't function. The real problem, of course, is her own shame. But instead of fixing what she's ashamed of, she instead rees about it on tumblr and redirects her frustration with herself onto other people. In this case, imaginary people.
What a fucking pathetic existence.

Not only that, but what if the woman didn't mean this piggy's fatness? What if she meant, "your top would look better with some skinny jeans" or something? But of course since piggy knows she's a disgusting slob she immediately takes it as a fat comment. Says more about piggy than the woman she was speaking to.

And, yet, she claims, "You might have an issue with my body. I don't." Bitch, you can't even wear a simple pair of shorts without feeling massively insecure.
[–] shart_in_a_fat_roll 0 points 12 points 12 points (+12|-0) ago
Exactly this. If walking outside in a pair of shorts is a noteworthy event in your life, you DO have an issue with your body.
Take your body positivity bullshit and shove it up your ass with a comfort wipe.

I've gotten these kinds of comments all the time. Don't wear that or that doesn't make you look good etc. You know what I did? Handled it like a fucking adult not like a fucking whiny baby. Fats are too sensitive to the outside world. They clearly never suffered and felt real pain. Their lives are filled with coddling and hand holding.

People make fun of other people, that's the way the world works. If you don't want to be made fun of, lose weight. It's not rocket science.
