People on welfare should be given food instead of money. Maybe the fat hillbillies will lose some weight and not have to get a tax payer funded scootypuff.

I'm almost certain that when repubs talk about lazy people on welfare, they're calling out the hams who've disabled themselves, but too afraid to say it, since you pretty much need kids you can't take care of to get any other assistance (which come on they're innocent kids). And they do automatically qualify for SNAPS on top of it and fucking medicaid. While anyone working full-time hours min wage qualifies for 0 federal welfare programs when single, other than perhaps a few subsidized apartments. It's fucking absurd that they're "disabled," but homeless drug addicts are criminals who deserve their basic human rights taken away.

I lived out of town while working last summer. Instead of buying groceries for the family, it was just me. $65-70 per week bought three meals a day for 7 days. I bought: chicken thighs, pork spare ribs, sirloin and eggs for protein and onions, garlic, potato, carrot, broccoli, cauliflower, haricot vert, tomatoes, corn, chilies and banana. The expensive items were strawberries, apples, nectarines, herbs and whole wheat bread and chicken stock. Staples like rice, olive oil and flour weren't bought every week so the cost is spread out even more. I ate like a king and my house mate was spending ~$250 a week on take out and frozen shit.

Fuck these idiots
