Common Unix Printer Service. Its basically the daemon that gets your printing stuff done on linux. I don't personally use printers, but had the service running and this particular component turned rogue in 16.04. But as /u/BurnedKirby suggests, its possible that this component only relates to the web interface.

cups is used for printing on Linux. If you suddenly can't print after applying this change, you may have to systemctl start cups-browsed . Well I haven't checked but if cups-browsed only provides the web interface then maybe you don't have to worry.
