It's called a couch, not an oversized chair.

I don’t honestly care if fat people have bad intentions or not when they sit in normal chairs meant for normal bodies on airplanes.

The fact of the matter is whether or not they’re consciously deciding to take comfortable seating away from healthy folks, that’s exactly what they’re doing, and they’re forcing us to be uncomfortable and/or in pain by taking up part of our seats. It is rude and it is inconsiderate. It’s a clear sign of selfishness that they don’t have to think about how using these seats effects thin people... if you have any shred of respect for us as fellow human beings, you’d consider not being a dick and allowing us the comfort of using the seating actually designed for us.

I'm going to go out of my way to sit in bariatric chairs. Of course, I may run the risk of sitting in a a shit-puddle if I do, but I will do my part to take a stand against the fattening of America.

I'm somewhere between wanting to take up those chairs out of spite, and being repulsed at the thought of putting my body anywhere near where a greasy, sweaty behemoth has been sitting.

Says the fat chick who just parked in the last handicap spot while someone in a wheelchair has to park farther away...

Man i never even thought of sitting in the wide load chairs, but now that I've read this I'm going to do it every time. Same for any chairs without arms.
