Ive been in FPH since the beginning and that is one of the strongest posts Ive ever seen. I think the admins should pin it. It is true that a picture is stronger than a thousand words

These pictures, as sad as they are, are all that has to be said about obeasts blaming genetics or condishuns for their weight.
But fat assholes probably would claim they know how these poor children feel, because they're also "starving" all the time when they didn't got a doughnut in the last 2 hours.

I recognize that it's a complex issue, but fat people are definitely helping to contribute to third world starvation. Why should corporations look to support the growth of new markets where they can sell their products when they can simply continue to sell more and more products in markets where the demand exceeds the requirement of the population (a.k.a. first world countries with high levels of obesity)?
These obese countries will provide a much more stable, safer market for them, and this also encourages them to look for ways to specifically engineer the food to encourage even more consumption in order to grow the demand even higher in these fat countries.
So while the obesity epidemic worsens, corporations make more and more profit, and meanwhile struggling countries are left ignored and are still unable to develop enough political and economic stability to support an economy that can help them meet the needs of their own populations.
All I'm saying is that maybe if fat people weren't overeating so god damn much, corporations would have more incentive to support the growth and stability of third world nations because it would be in their own best interest. Instead, first world nations just get fatter and fatter as the amount of food they consume continues to rise far beyond their actual requirements, providing an easily accessible and ever growing demand for corporations to thrive and grow on.

I remember saying you have to be a special stupid...to be fat and poor. I get so disgusted looking at the dead eyes of so called poverty stricken fats. For every dead eyed, whining idiot there are dozens of actual people out there in another part of the world who are actually poor, and starving. If they had half a chance at a somewhat healthy life like the poor get here in America they would not only be thankful, but they wouldn't glut themselves by misusing what little money they have and binging on garbage.
Even at my families worst when we had nothing, I was no where near the position the poor children in those pictures are in. I'm thankful for that.

This is what I think when I hear someone say they are struggling with their weight. Cupcake binges are not struggling. Not having food for days is struggling.
