It has nothing to do with fear. It's uncomfortable when people say with complete confidence that a shovel is a pickaxe or that the sky is neon-green.

A man is a man and a woman is a woman. If they aren't bitches about it i'll use the pronoun they want, but I shouldn't be considered a bad person for calling people what they actually are.
