The only reason why she is famous, is because her cushion is a congressman.

Interesting - They completely ignored the joke theft scandal there.
Both her live stuff and TV sketches has stuff lifted from other sources (maybe they were pure Original Content this year and that's why it sucked?). And I imagine that joke-theft will poison you among the NYC Scensters that would be a big part of this Vice writer's "bubble", as so many seem to be fledgling comedians and writers themselves.
Trainwreck - She was upstaged by a professional wrestler. And everybody else for that matter. But when John Cena outshines you, and he improv'd most of his material too, you ain't the next big thing in comedy.
PR - She got shitty over a 12 year old kid playing along with her "I'm a drunk slut and that's okay" persona on Twitter. Even after the photoshoots of her sucking off a lightsaber and posing for that Annie Liebowitz calendar, holding a drink and putting her fat-rolls on display. It creates the sense she doesn't have the courage of her convictions. And certainly that her "politics" are expedient at best.
Over all, It feels a lot like what happened with Dane Cook - Up and coming comedian primed for a big mainstream transition/cross-over success year, but it "didn't take" (he also had a joke theft scandal in there too). So there was just this weird period in the culture where somebody was trying to "Make Dane Cook Happen", but he didn't have the goods when all was said and done.

Dane Cook was all enthusiasm and not that funny. One of his biggest bits was calling a sandwich "Sangwich" and Burger King "The BK Lounge" that and he jumps around like an idiot and over exaggerates his speech
that and he's good looking. I heard some female coworkers of mine talking about how funny Dane Cook was and finished with gushing about handsome he looked up on stage.
Also his brother was managing his money and ended up embezzling millions and then doing jail time. That tends to slow down your career a bit
but also Dane Cook isn't that funny. Another bit of his is the Superfinger where he holds up three fingers "because the middle finger just isn't good enough" yawn

Of course the refined Mr. Wolf would appreciate Bangton.

Why did everybody stop caring about Inside Amy Schumer all at once?
More like no ever really cared, and the pretending to care push has finally lost momentum.

Being inside Amy Schumer is like being in McDonald's. I'd enjoy it as long as it was near free and low effort.

Well said. You can only push an agenda/idea/hype for so long before people see through it and move on. Oh and she's about as funny as the thing from Girls.

You're very correct. Clearly the production company thought they could skip out on the marketing budget of bribing blogs and clip shows this year after how much attention she got last year. Didn't work.

I've seen one female comedian that was funny and it wasn't Amy Schumer.
