I'm actually suspicious of that in Kuntpuntzman's article he says "The brass shell casings disoriented me as they flew past my face." but the shells of a AR-15 fly out of the right of it, not near the shooter's face at all

If you shot lefty, this would be the case. My father was a lefty and he always hated semi-automatics for this very reason. Stuck to revolvers and break barrel type weapons mostly.

that was my first thought about his article too I said somewhere in these comments;
I always thought PTSD was something less petty, like a life long condition you get from experiencing the horrors of war first hand that tears families and lives apart. But hey, what do I know?
but it reminds me of how fast and loose liberals and SJWs are using the disorder these days which does a disservice to people that actually have it, but there are always people that try to take advantage of psychological conditions that way like a lot of the people recently claiming to have depression and ADHD without a proper diagnosis who are actually just making excuses for being lazy
