Highly doubtful. I can imagine that there will be 'hold ups' if leave wins though.

Even if the vote fails setting the standard that people can democratically choose to leave a government is the best thing to happen. I'm so glad this is becoming a practice. Somebody needs to successfully leave something though.

my guess, if the vote is actually FOR brexit, they will claim it was rigged and repeat the referendum and theyll do that till they get the result they want

I have no doubt about it.

I'll be more then surprised if they don't.

I'll be even more surprised if they don't try and subvert the posible exit win after the fact with more lies.

Will it matter even if it goes through? The politicians might just temporize, hem and haw, say they'll discuss it, then two years later there will be another referendum.

I believe the correct term is a 'do-over' until they get it right.

Yup just like they urged Crima to redue the referendum and lost their shit when they noped out.

Exactly, they will keep dragging it, having new referendums every couple of years ("the situation has changed, we need a new referendum!") until they have the desired "correct result". At this point, the situation will never be new again and the result will be final.

120% of registered voters think so too.
