Quick question?

What is the rate of sexual assault in the Canadian Military compared to the general public?

Because you know, if it's lower, then we should really be making sure all Canadians get the wallet card.

Edit: so it looks like the rate is 1/13 in the military. Or slightly less than 8%. This is according to the stats that caused the review, and resulted in the wallet cards.

According to sexassault.ca/statistics.htm the rate for north American women is 1/4 with 11% suffering actual physical injuries.

Looks like someone is either lying about the stats (sexassault.ca) or the military is actually VERY safe compared to the general public.

OP Honour clearly needs to be extended to the general public.

American soldiers regularly got them. I think I have a Vietnam era one from a surplus MRE I bought.

It's mos likely to cover their ass insurance wise or something
